Burke and Wills DEAD!
We arrived in Innamincka yesterday, after 2 flat tyres, what a bugger. We went back to Tiboburra to get the first changed, that took to lunchtime, and he fitted a ‘gyoot’ tyre, (get you out of trouble),it may get me into trouble. The second one was near Innamincka, and I had to vist Rhyma this morning. I was warned to approach Rhyma very carefully, as she has been known to bite of heads, but I got a new tyre, why my tyres are shit, what I should have on my car, and some local history, all for $350. Rhyma is like the local mechanic and certainly a local identity here, what a woman!
We are staying with Geoff and Julie in an airconditioned room, it is 46 today, and have visited Wills grave, where King was picked up, and when it cools down a bit we will vist Burkes grave and the dig tree.
We do not have internet access here and not for the next few days, so blogs will be sporadic (we are onthe only internet computer in Innamincka and is very slow).
We are onto Birdsville tomorrow, very slowly to avoid punctures.
See ya.

Rhyma sounds like a winner. It would be good if you could take her with you just in case of any other emergencies.
Just remember things could be a lot worse, think of poor Kevin and his burnt out motor and worse still, losing his teeth!!
Hope you have some flowers for the graves!
Happy travels, Yola and Sarah
